HPB surgery
(hepato biliary pancreatic)

Techniques are used to treat conditions or tumors in the bile ducts, pancreas, liver, and duodenal junction.

Liver Biopsy

These are minimally invasive procedures, guided by ultrasound or tomography, percutaneous, or laparoscopic.

Hepatic segmentectomomy

It involves the resection of a liver segment due to a primary or metastatic tumor that affects this area.

Right or left hepatectomy

It is a major procedure, removing half of the liver for diseases in this area, which is performed with the highest scientific standards and advanced surgical techniques.

Liver metastasectomy

It involves performing a parenchyma-sparing tumor resection to leave a remaining liver for liver function.

Pancreatoduodenectomy (Whipple procedure)

This procedure is performed for tumors or conditions of the duodenal pancreatic hepatic crossroads, in which a resection of the head of the pancreas, gallbladder, bile ducts, duodenum and part of the stomach is performed, and at least 3 connections are made with the intestine to rebuild this area. Knowledge and experience are required in this type of procedure, which is one of the most complex.

Distal pancreatectomy

We use it to extract the body and tail of the pancreas for conditions at this level.
